Frequently asked questions

Colorizing is not an easy task. That's why we want you to get the most out of your shots. Here are some questions that often arise.

What is a LUT?

A LUT (Look-Up Table) is a tool used to transform the colors and tones of an image or video. It can help you create a specific visual style, enhance colors, or achieve a consistent look across your projects.

LUTs are commonly used in professional editing and color workflows and can serve as a starting point for your color grading process.

What is a preset?

A preset is a collection of adjustments that can be applied to a photo quickly. It allows you to achieve a specific look and speed up your editing workflow.

Presets are designed as a starting point, allowing you to fine-tune the settings depending on your photo, lighting, and camera.

What programs can I use the LUTs with?

LUTs are provided in .CUBE format and can be used with most editing software that supports this format.

Some examples include DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, VN, Filmora, and other applications that support .CUBE LUTs.

Specific compatibility is listed in each product description.

What programs can I use the presets with?

Compatibility depends on the specific preset. Each product page includes information about the compatible software and format before you purchase.

Do I need to know about editing or color grading to use the products?

No. The products are designed to be easy to use, even if you're just getting started.

Each product includes instructions to help you install and apply it correctly. You can also adjust the settings to adapt the look to your photos or videos.

Do the products include instructions?

Yes. All products include installation and/or application instructions, depending on the type of digital asset you purchase.

Will the LUT or preset look exactly the same on every video or photo?

Not necessarily.

LUTs and presets are a starting point, so the final result may vary depending on your camera, exposure, lighting, image profile, and the characteristics of your original footage.

For the best results with presets, we recommend working with photos captured in RAW, as this format retains more information for adjusting color and exposure.

For LUTs, working with video recorded in a color profile designed for color grading, such as Log, allows for better results and greater flexibility during the color grading process.

In some cases, small adjustments may be needed to adapt the look to your specific footage or photo.
